At Bauma China 2008, the Liebherr mixing technology range features a Liebherr Compactmix 1.0 batching plant and a screw type concrete recycling system LRS 606, which is distinctive due to its compact design. Furthermore, the range of Liebherr truck mixers which are assembled in China is represented at the Liebherr booth in Shanghai with a type HTM 1004 mounted on a three axle Howo-chassis and a type HTM 1204 on a four-axle Delong-chassis.

The Compactmix 1.0 is a novelty in Liebherr’s extensive range of batching plants.

　　Compactmix 1.0: successful space-saving batching plant 60 m³ per hour capacity

　　A novelty in Liebherr's extensive range of batching plants is the Compactmix 1.0, which Liebherr has first introduced at Bauma 2007. Since its launch only a year ago this plant concept has yielded exceptional success with more than one hundred units delivered already to customers all over the world.

　　The compactly designed batching plant is capable of a maximum discharge output of 60 m³ of hardened concrete per hour. The space-saving overall concept and the flexible 180° truck mixer approach angle underneath the plant enables to position the mixer in a relatively small area. Despite the compact construction, all components are within easy and

　　convenient reach. Most of the steel parts are galvanized, ensuring excellent corrosion protection and therefore a long working life.

　　The Compactmix 1.0 has been designed particularly with use as a mobile concrete mixer in mind, but can also be operated without any difficulty on construction sites, thanks to its set of easily demountable sub-assemblies and the optional steel foundation system.

　　The new compact batching plant is equipped with the tried-and-tested Liebherr RIM 1.0 ring-pan mixer with 1 m³ rated contents or 1,500 l capacity. The mixing system is available with either a mechanical or a hydraulic agitator system. Agitator systems are especially beneficial if there is a need for particularly high concrete quality or if additives or colouring agents are part of the mix. This is why the new Compactmix 1.0 is also ideally suited to the prefab and concrete-products industry.

　　The basic format of the Compactmix 1.0 can, if desired, be combined with in-line silos, pocket silos or star silos. The in-line silos are available in various size configurations. Thus, storage volumes between 70 m³ and 300 m³ can be accommodated for different aggregates.

　　As with all other Liebherr concrete mixers, many useful options are available for the new Compactmix 1.0. Examples are additive scales, high-pressure mixer cleaning system, claddings and winter fittings. There is an optional extension to the mixer's lift path, meaning that the silo can be positioned lower, thus reduces the need for ramping facilities.

　　Liebherr truck mixers assembled in China

　　Liebherr’s range of locally assembled truck mixers are particularly successful products in the Chinese market with average annual sales exceeding 1,000 units. Liebherr truck mixers are available on the Chinese market with drum sizes from 6 m³ up to 12 m³ whereas the 8 - 9 m³ size class proved to be the most popular one.

　　Key components of these truck mixers such as the gear and the hydraulic components are being imported from Germany and therefore ensure a highly reliable performance. Liebherr especially emphasizes the importance of the chassis by designing adapted sub frames for each kind of chassis, imported as well as local. This results in less stress on the chassis and therefore a longer service life of the whole product. For the truck mixer drum being a crucial part of the machine, Liebherr has traditionally been engaged to use high wear resistant fine grain steel in order to guarantee outstanding service life.
